What is Zigbee?

Zigbee is a wireless technology that acts like a special language to allow smart home devices talk to each other.

Zigbee creates a "mesh network". This means if you have multiple Somfy Zigbee products in your home, they help pass messages on to each other. This makes the signal stronger and more reliable throughout your house

Whats the benefit for the installer?

    • No handset required for set up, you can program solely from your phone

    • QR guided set up

    • No isolation of motors required to program

  • Able to view data on installed Somfy products through ‘serve-e-go’, which allows remote access to the clients Tahoma Hub. This means you can amend limits, check battery level etc.

Control Options:

TaHoma Hub Switch

With Zigbee, you don’t require a remote for set up like usual - you can program and set limits entirely through the TaHoma Switch in conjunction with the phone app. The products can therefore be controlled entirely through your phone.

Ysia 1 Channel Remote

A single channel remote if required - e.g. for guest use.

Ysia 4 Channel Remote

A multi channel remote if required - e.g. for guest use. Can control up to 4 products individually, with 1 x grouping channel.
