The story begins in the year 1978.

In the small town of Deeping St. James, Lincolnshire, a gentleman named John founded a window dressing hardware store by name of John Sellars & Co. As a merchant to the high-end interior trade, he sold made-to-measure blinds and curtain poles to designers of homes across England.

And so it began.
